XIALMA

Xialma is a personal winemaking project born from a bond with the land and a distinctive vision of Ribeira Sacra along the Miño River. Terraced vineyards, heroic viticulture on a human scale, and a landscape that becomes part of the wine. A patient, hands-on approach, where caring for every vine and following nature’s rhythms give meaning to each vintage.

Two vineyards, ten kilometres apart along the river, share the same purpose: to preserve the character of their surroundings and bring it into the bottle. The stone, the steep slopes, the light, and the memory of those who cultivated this land shape a way of working rooted in observation, learning, and respect.

Here, the photographer’s eye meets the winegrower’s hands. Xialma grows from this dialogue between landscape and emotion, between what the land offers and what each harvest teaches. A wine with its own identity, roots, and soul. The essence of the Miño in every bottle.
